Local saves

Use the game’s save-management controls to delete an aquarium after confirming the choice. Demo and full-game saves are separate. Back up anything you want to keep. Clearing this marketing website’s browser data does not delete installed-game saves.

If you previously used a retired browser demo, its old data may remain in that browser’s local storage or IndexedDB. Removing site data can remove those old saves and website preferences; make any available backup first. We do not delete old browser data automatically.

Steam data

Steam Cloud copies and Steam account, purchase, achievement or leaderboard data are handled through Valve. Manage Steam Cloud settings and contact Steam Support for Steam-hosted data requests. Deleting a local save does not delete your Steam account.

Deleting a local save does not automatically remove Steam Cloud copies or published Workshop snapshots. Use Stop sharing in the game for a shared habitat and manage its Workshop item through Steam. Previously downloaded copies may remain on other players’ devices.

Support records and former online accounts

The online game is retired. For deletion of historical account data or messages you sent to support, email hello@chilltank.com. If possible, write from the address associated with those records and identify what you want deleted. You do not need access to the retired game. Never send a password or authentication code.

We may request limited information to verify the request. Data is deleted or anonymized where applicable; legally required records or records necessary for legal claims may be retained. Website-form emails and delivery records are separate from former gameplay accounts, so mention these if your request includes them.
