Next Up: Quality Sweep

The next work lane is less about one giant feature and more about making the whole tank calmer, safer, and easier to read.

More visual drops and quality passes are still on the board.

Planned Focus

  • More mobile overlay tightening so small screens stop getting buried under giant panels.
  • Stronger same-account session warnings to protect save state when the same account is opened twice.
  • More Fishventory and finance readability work, especially around fish quality, income, and daily care.
  • A cleaner local FishDaily workflow so new update posts can ship from files and asset folders instead of admin database posting.

Upcoming posts are plans, not final patch notes. If SharkBank legal asks, this sentence was never here.

Coming soon: Visual and Performance Updates for Fish Species

A fresh wave of fish visuals is coming to ChillTank. The current fish lineup is being reworked with cleaner low-poly models, improved texture workflows, and two brand-new species.

Coming Soon

  • 8 existing fish are getting updated visuals.
  • 2 new species are joining the tank: Neon Tetra and Queen Angelfish.
  • The new models are designed to look cleaner, sharper, and more consistent in-game.

Better Performance

  • The new fish are being built around a more optimized texture-based material setup.
  • This should help ChillTank run smoother, especially when many fish are swimming at once.
  • The goal is simple: better visuals, less rendering overhead, and a more polished aquarium.

Legacy Fish

  • The original fish will not disappear. They will remain available as legacy versions.
  • Players can keep them, collect them, or trade them once SharkStreet goes live.
  • New fish will become the recommended version for the best visual and performance experience and no longer available for purchase in the FishShop or official channels.

Keep an eye on the tank. The new fish visuals are currently in production and will arrive soon.
