A Better Tank View — Glide & Peek

The new camera is intentionally more like looking into a real aquarium: your Habitat stays in front of you, most fish remain visible, and every drop stays within the playable frame.

Designed as a Tank View

  • The fixed scenic view keeps fish, drops, and your decorated Habitat together instead of letting the camera get turned around.
  • W glides through most of the water volume toward its far end; S returns. A / D glide sideways, and Space / Ctrl rise or dive.
  • Drag empty water to peek, then release to keep that angle. Your movement directions remain fixed.
  • Edit Habitat remains fully free so you can still inspect and decorate from every direction.

This limitation is part of the design: a calmer view, clearer movement, and more time watching your fish.

Multi-Habitats Arrive — Kyoto Garden Opens First

Your aquarium world can now grow beyond one tank. Multi-Habitats are here, and the first new destination is the tranquil Kyoto Garden.

Lanterns, moss, maples, bridges, a teahouse, and plenty of room for koi.

Kyoto Garden — the first new Habitat

  • Kyoto Garden is now available in FishShop → Habitats for 2,500,000 FC.
  • It launches as a carefully authored Standard-size-only freshwater Habitat.
  • The garden has its own fish roster, decoration layout, inventory view, custom name, and save state.
  • Its broad koi pond is surrounded by mossy banks, red maples, lanterns, bridges, stones, and a wooden teahouse.

How Multi-Habitats work

  • Selected Habitat: the Habitat you are currently viewing, stocking, and editing.
  • Featured Habitat: the public showcase visitors see when they visit your aquarium world.
  • Every owned Habitat keeps its own active fish, decoration placements, size, custom name, and layout history.
  • Fish can be moved between owned Habitats from FishVentory without losing their identity or history.
  • Tank Value, daily earnings, fish count, and TankGrade combine active fish across all Habitats.
  • Net worth remains account-wide: owned fish, stored fish, coins, and debt all count together.
  • Featuring a Habitat changes presentation only. It does not make one Habitat financially privileged.

FishShop & FishVentory

  • Buy additional Habitats from the dedicated Habitat page in FishShop.
  • Open, rename, feature, and manage owned Habitats through FishVentory.
  • The unintended Sunspire Basin placeholder has been removed from the Habitat shop.
  • More fully authored Habitats will follow as their worlds become ready.

One aquarium was cozy. Several aquariums are a property-management problem — exactly as nature intended.

Welcome to the Living Tank — ChillTank Is Now 3D

The glass has disappeared. ChillTank's old layered 2D tanks have grown into full 3D habitats that you can explore, furnish, and make your own — underwater, from every angle.

The Big Change

  • Your tank is now a place. Swim the camera through the water, turn all the way around, inspect the shoreline, and discover angles that never existed in the old parallax view.
  • Water, terrain, lighting, weather, plants, rocks, structures, and fish now share one living 3D scene.
  • The camera respects the habitat floor, scenery, waterline, and safe movement limits, so exploring should still feel like swimming inside your tank.

How to Swim the Camera

  • W / S move forward and backward in the direction you are looking.
  • A / D strafe left and right.
  • Space rises. Ctrl or C sinks. Hold Shift to move faster.
  • Left-drag empty water to look freely around the habitat. A normal click still interacts with fish and tank activities.
  • Right-drag to slide the view. Middle-drag moves vertically, and the mouse wheel moves closer or farther away.
  • Moving the pointer near the edges gives the tank a gentle look-around response even when you are not dragging.

When Feed mode is active, feeding keeps priority over camera clicks and the Space key.

Three Habitat Sizes

  • Every player now starts with Lake Tahoe Small, including existing tanks moving into 3D.
  • Lake Tahoe Standard and Large are already available to buy in FishShop → Habitats.
  • Standard opens a much roomier basin; Large is the wide showcase habitat for ambitious layouts.
  • Select a size tile to inspect its complete map in the interactive 3D preview before buying.
  • Owned habitat sizes live with your habitat inventory, ready to apply when you want more room.

Old Map Purchases Refunded

  • The retired flat aquarium maps are no longer used by the tank.
  • If you bought one, the exact FishCoins charged are waiting in an admin Giftbox inside your FishVentory Inbox.
  • Your fish, food, items, balances, and other purchases are untouched.

Decorate the Actual World

  • FishShop → Decorations now carries real 3D rocks, plants, corals, driftwood, ruins, treasures, and accent pieces.
  • Search and filter the catalog by category, rarity, and size. Many natural decorations come in Small, Medium, and Large versions.
  • Select a decoration tile for a rotatable 3D inspection, dimensions, habitat compatibility, and ownership details.
  • Purchased decorations arrive through delivery and become reusable pieces in your habitat inventory.

Edit Habitat Mode

  • Press the Edit Habitat button on the lower tank dock to open your owned decoration strip.
  • Click a decoration — or drag it from the strip — then move it over the basin to choose its home.
  • Green means grounded and ready. Orange warns about a steep or slightly overlapping placement. Red means outside the tank, blocked, or unsafe.
  • Select a placed piece to switch between Move and Rotate. Placement and rotation snapping can be toggled for precise layouts.
  • Undo and Redo let you experiment. Remove to inventory safely returns a piece instead of destroying it.
  • Press Save when the habitat feels right. Cancel discards the current editing session.

Built to Keep Swimming

  • Heavy 3D previews and editor tools load only when opened.
  • Water detail, scene effects, and habitat rendering continue to respect your graphics and performance settings.
  • Your familiar fish, feeding, care, rewards, and tank actions remain — they now happen inside a world you can explore.

This is the foundation for ChillTank's future habitats. Dive in, learn the new controls, and turn that empty basin into somewhere unmistakably yours.

A Random Sequence of Characters Has Been Found!!

To celebrate a new all-time low of 13%, SharkBank's registry researchers have made a historic discovery: A RANDOM SEQUENCE OF CHARACTERS HAS BEEN FOUND!!

The discovery

  • Merz leck eier is now completely free as a fish name.
  • You may give the name to as many of your fish as you like.
  • Capitalization does not matter. SharkBank recognizes the sequence in upper-, lower-, and mixed-case paperwork.
  • Every fish still has only one rename ticket, so choose its permanent government-approved nonsense responsibly.

All other custom names remain individual registry claims. This one escaped uniqueness because, legally speaking, nobody could prove it meant anything.

FishBreeding: Breeding Lab

FishBreeding is here: unlock species with breeder licences, open BreedingTank rooms, spend species FishMate, speed things up with MateBoosters, and reveal new Atlas offspring with inherited skin lines.

FishBreeding result showing a new Goldfish hybrid with parent lineage
New offspring reveal their inherited line, stats, value, generation, and parents.

Breeding Lab

  • Open FishBreeding from the new tank top bar button and jump into the Breeding Lab.
  • Drag two eligible same-species Atlas fish into the parent slots to prepare a new breed.
  • The fish grid now filters around your first selected parent, so matching partners are easier to find.
  • Legacy, limited, locked, delivery, and already-breeding fish are hidden from the eligible breeder list.
  • Each species now needs its own SpeciesLicence™ before that species can be bred.
Breeding Lab new breed screen with parent slots and breeding resources
The new breed view shows parent slots, eligible inventory, FishMate, costs, time, and optional boosters.

FishShop Breeding

  • The FishShop now has a Breeding section for FishMate™, MateBooster™, SpeciesLicence™, and BreedingTank™ stock.
  • Quick filters help split the Breeding shelf into tanks, FishMate potions, MateBoosters, and licences.
  • Each breed needs FishMate for the matching species. Better parents and harder breeds can require more.
  • Optional MateBoosters reduce breeding time, with stronger tiers saving more time.
  • Breeding resources live in the Fishventory Breeding tab. They do not appear in Food, Items, or the feeding dock.
  • Breeding quotes show the money cost, required resources, expected time, and cancel fee before starting.

Licences And Tanks

  • SpeciesLicence™ unlocks are permanent one-time purchases for each breedable species.
  • BreedingTank™ rooms control how many lineages you can run at the same time.
  • Every player starts with no BreedingTank rooms, so the first room is the first real lab expansion.
  • When starting a breed, pick the exact free BreedingTank room you want to use.
  • Higher-tier BreedingTanks look fancier and add a small time bonus on top of any MateBooster you use.
Breeding started popup showing two parent fish and the estimated finish time
Starting a breed now gives a clear confirmation with both parents and the finish estimate.

Current And Archive

  • The Current tab tracks active and ready breeding sessions with live countdowns, progress, cost, and reveal state.
  • Owned BreedingTank rooms now show their tank art, status, timer, and both parents placed in front of the room.
  • Ready packages show a notification badge on the breeding button and inside the modal.
  • The new Archive tab keeps revealed breedings with the child thumbnail, parent line, cost, duration, reveal time, and cancel fee.
  • Clicking an archived child opens the normal fish stats card, so past results are easy to inspect again.
  • Archive rows also include a Generations button for opening the family view of that result.
Current FishBreeding session ready to reveal with a package button
Ready packages can be revealed directly from the Current view.

Generations Tree

  • Revealed fish can now open a visual Generations view from the Archive.
  • The selected child is highlighted, with parents, grandparents, and older links arranged as a family tree.
  • Each node shows the fish thumbnail, skin line, rarity, generation, condition, and speed snapshot.
  • Large families load on demand: the tree starts small and can load more generations without freezing the modal.
FishBreeding Generations tree showing a selected child with parents and grandparents
Generations view turns Archive entries into a readable family tree.

Hybrid Results

  • Breeding results keep the species name, while the skin line records the inherited parent skins and generation.
  • New offspring use generated Atlas texture mixes, seeded genetics, rarity rolls, condition, speed, and valuation.
  • The reveal popup celebrates the result with a bigger 3D preview, confetti, value stats, and both parents underneath for quick comparison.
  • From the reveal, you can jump straight to Fishventory to place, inspect, trade, or manage the new fish.
  • Fish stats now preserve breeding origin details so a hybrid line can be recognized later in Fishventory or SharkStreet.

Genetics

  • Think of breeding like a playful Mendel lab: parents pass visible skin traits, stat tendencies, and rarity chances into the child roll.
  • The child gets a seed, so its Atlas mix can be recognized later while still allowing different outcomes from similar pairings.
  • The reveal now shows a genetic roll curve and percentile, so you can see whether the result landed low, median, or lucky.
  • Atlas synthesis can use different visual blend styles, from smoother gradients to rarer stripe or pattern-heavy mixes.
  • Most results stay close to the parents, but unusual blends and stronger rolls can happen when the lineage gets lucky.
  • The reveal screen now highlights parent contribution, generation, seed discovery, value, speed, condition, and both parents.
FishBreeding tank top bar button
Look for the new FishBreeding button near the tank controls.

FishBreeding is a big new system, so balance numbers, resource amounts, and genetics presentation may keep moving while the lab gets busier.

Fishkeeper: Personal Challenges & Roles

Fishkeeper is now its own personal progression space: solo challenges, personal FisherRoles, clearer rewards, and a cleaner break from the old clan mission flow.

Fishkeeper now handles solo challenge progress and personal role choices.

Personal Challenges

  • Fishkeeper challenges are now personal: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly offer lanes can give solo goals for fish, rarity, levels, food, net worth, tank activity, and FishGames.
  • Challenges show rewards, XP, cancel fees, expiry, progress, and a detail popup before accepting.
  • Existing fish or items no longer instantly finish an offer. The popup now explains what you already have, what you need to add, and what total you are aiming for after accepting.
  • Completed challenge slots refill with a fresh offer, so finishing one does not leave the cadence feeling empty.

Personal FisherRoles

  • FisherRoles are now personal Fishkeeper unlocks instead of clan shop purchases.
  • You can own multiple roles permanently and choose one active personal role at a time.
  • Role effects prefer your selected personal role first, while already-owned clan specializations can still work as fallback where they already existed.
FisherRoles are moving into the personal Fishkeeper track.

What Happened To Clans?

  • FishClan is not removed. It is postponed while the old clan dynamics are reworked.
  • Clan entry points and clan mission/shop role products are hidden for now, but existing clan data and already-purchased clan specialization seats are kept intact.
  • Hidden open clan missions are paused safely: clans should not be punished by expiry penalties while the clan system is on ice.
  • Clans will return later with functionality that fits them better instead of copying the new solo Fishkeeper loop.

Balance Notes

  • Food challenges now pay much less because food is always available.
  • Trash, Bubble, Game Collector, and FishGame goals use fresh progress after accepting and have more sensible target sizes.
  • Challenge payouts still care a little about your account, but high net worth and high Fishkeeper level no longer inflate rewards forever.

This is the first proper Fishkeeper balance pass. Challenge targets, rewards, and role prices may still move while the feature finds its rhythm.

26.06.2026

FishCrews & CrewFood

FishSchools are becoming FishCrews: crews now start from special CrewFood bags, gather one species at the spot you choose, and stay together only after the whole group actually makes it into formation.

CrewFood

  • FishShop now has featured CrewFood bags for Clownfish, Neon Tetra, Goldfish, Discus, Butterflyfish, Angelfish, Queen Angelfish, Geophagus, Koi, and Arowana.
  • CrewFood is species-specific: place the Clownfish bag to call Clownfish, the Koi bag to call Koi, and so on.
  • Prices start around $500 and climb toward $1,000 for the bigger headline species.
  • CrewFood is a special gathering item, not normal meal food, so it does not replace regular feeding or XP food.

How Crews Start

  • Pick a CrewFood bag in the tank and click where you want that species to gather.
  • Each fish reacts on its own, so a bag will not always pull the entire species in one try.
  • A crew activates only when all current fish of that species are close enough together.
  • When it works, the tank shows a short crew net, a Crew Activated popup, and an instant activation bonus.

Active FishCrews

  • Activated crews stay together for 20 minutes and move as a loose group instead of getting shoved together in ugly pulses.
  • Fish still keep their own swim speed, so slower fish stay slower and catch up naturally.
  • Once a species crew is active, more CrewFood for that species is blocked until the crew expires.
  • The FishCrews panel shows active crew status, school value, and the expected money per minute for the crew.

Panel & Nets

  • The old FishSchools view has been cleaned up into a FishCrews tab with clearer crew entries.
  • Each entry can show one net at a time, focused on that selected crew instead of lighting up the whole tank.
  • Crew nets use the crew rarity color and dissolve when you switch to another crew.
  • The old always-on automatic schooling behavior is disabled for now while CrewFood becomes the main way to create tight species groups.

This is a first balance pass for CrewFood. Expect the gather radius, prices, and activation rewards to keep moving until the tank behavior feels properly alive.

FishSchools & Swarm Bonus

FishSchools are now a real tank system: matching species can group up, move together, show their school stats, and earn live-session Swarm Bonuses when the school is strong enough.

FishSchools panel showing a selected school net over the aquarium
Use the FishSchools tab to inspect a school and highlight its live net in the tank.

FishSchools

  • Species with 5 or more school-capable fish can now form an actual moving school in the tank.
  • Schooling species like Neon Tetra, Clownfish, Goldfish, Discus, Butterflyfish, Angelfish, and Queen Angelfish spend most idle time trying to swim as a group.
  • Arowana, Geophagus, and Koi can still school, but only occasionally.
  • Feeding, food rain, reward bursts, minigames, and paused tank states interrupt schooling so those events stay readable.

FishSchools Panel

  • The Active Care drawer now has two tabs: ActiveCare and FishSchools.
  • Each school shows species count, SchoolGrade, speed class, condition class, rarity match, and swarm behavior stats.
  • Only one school net can be highlighted at a time, so the tank view stays readable.
  • School nets use the school rarity color and connect the current fish positions directly in the aquarium.

Swarm Bonus

  • Schools with at least 5 close, active members can earn a live-session Swarm Bonus every minute.
  • Bigger schools pay better, with size classes scaling from 5 fish up toward 50 fish.
  • Matching rarity, condition class, and speed class improve the bonus.
  • Swarm Bonus popups and highlights appear in the tank when a school payout lands.

FishSchools are session-live behavior: feed the tank and the school breaks formation, let the water calm down and the school gets back to business.

FishClans 1.0

FishClans 1.0 is live in ReefNet: public profiles, social tools, clan halls, management tabs, inboxes, leaderboards, and the first real clan treasury tools are now gathered in one cleaner reef hub.

ReefNet Hub

  • FishClans now sits beside My Profile, Social, and the Clan Leaderboard in the ReefNet beta panel.
  • Public profiles can show your display name, bio, clan badge, tank stats, and a direct Visit Tank button.
  • Clan badges are easier to read across profile cards and leaderboard popups.

Your FishClan

  • The clan home now has a proper identity card with name, icon, role rules, member count, founding date, and clan level display.
  • Clan balance is now a big central treasury box, so the important money number is not hidden in the weeds.
  • Clan Hall is focused on member entries: ranks, roles, levels, join dates, and quick profile access.
  • Member tanks is only the combined tank value of active members. It is display context, not clan XP.

Management

  • Clan actions are now Management, with Dashboard, Finances, Settings, Applications, and Danger pages.
  • Finances includes the clan balance, transaction history, withdrawals, individual payouts, and selected equal splits.
  • Money-moving tools are for Chancellor and Officer roles. Other active members can still inspect the finance history.
  • Payouts and splits show confirmation steps with exact totals before the treasury moves.

Inbox & Leaderboard

  • Clans now have an Inbox page, plus unread alerts on the TankTopBar button when fresh clan messages are waiting.
  • You can mark clan inbox entries as read from the FishClan panel.
  • The Clan Leaderboard can open clan previews with Join or Request buttons, including the exact entry fee when one is set.

Clan levels start at Lv 0 with their own clan XP progression. Deposits into the clan treasury stay disabled for now while the live payout side settles in.

18.06.2026

FishGames 2.0

FishGames 2.0 starts rolling active tank moments into a cleaner session-only system: small games can appear while you are playing, pay out after completion, and keep the aquarium feeling alive without saving extra live-state clutter.

New FishGames

  • SwarmCollect: catch tiny crossing fish with a quick net sweep.
  • FishTourGuide: guide curious fish into the target circle.
  • Photo Safari: identify a described fish and snap the best shot.
  • FishMaths: solve quick fish-themed puzzles.
  • FishPaintings: sketch a fish locally and save the result as a PNG.

How It Works

  • Only one FishGame can be active at a time.
  • Rewards are paid once at the end, never every frame or every click.
  • FishGames pause around heavy flows like checkout, SharkStreet, feed rain, statements, and major popups.
  • Completed rounds can count toward new FishGames achievement badges.

This is the V1 framework pass. Assets and extra polish can grow from here, but the core system is already built to stay modular and light.

13.06.2026

SharkStreet 2.0 Auctions

SharkStreet 2.0 is here: the market now supports timed auctions, bidder rooms, bid history, and clearer market paperwork for high-stakes fish trades.

SharkStreet 2.0 auction update
SharkStreet 2.0 adds auctions next to classic direct-buy listings.

Auctions

  • Sellers can list fish as auctions with a starting price, timer, and optional instant buyout.
  • Bids are binding. If you are highest when the timer ends, the fish is yours.
  • Outbid players are refunded automatically, and the auction winner receives the fish through SharkStreet delivery.
  • Seller cancellation is limited once bidding has started, so active auctions cannot be casually yoinked mid-fight.

Auction Rooms

  • Late-stage auctions can open a dedicated auction room with the featured fish, seller, host, top bidders, bid history, and live timer.
  • The fish on the podium can be inspected directly, so you can check skin, condition, earnings, and other stats before committing.
  • Bid history now makes the latest market action easier to read, including bidder seats and highest-bid state.

Market Clarity

  • SharkStreet cards now distinguish direct-buy listings from auctions more clearly.
  • Your Bids focuses on your outgoing auction activity, while My Listings is the place to inspect auctions you are selling.
  • Buyout and bid confirmations now show the important total first, with fees available when you want the SharkBank fine print.

Auctions are new market machinery, so keep an eye on timers, totals, and delivery notices while the sharks tune the gavel.

CareMaxx ActiveMaxxing Is Live

CareMaxx is here for players who like poking the tank on purpose: charge ActiveMaxxing with special care items, then cash in a 30-minute live-play boost when the meter hits 100%.

CareMaxx Items

  • Water Additive adds 35% ActiveMaxxing charge for a cheaper top-up.
  • Aeration Booster adds 70% charge when the tank needs a serious wake-up.
  • Lobbyarbeit Pack fills the meter in one go and starts the whole care machine immediately.
  • CareMaxx items are listed as food in the shop, but they are not fish dinner: they give 0 XP and do not feed fish.

ActiveMaxxing

  • Once the charge reaches 100%, ActiveMaxxing turns on for 30 minutes.
  • While active, live aquarium rewards get a 1.25x payout boost.
  • Drop activity also gets a smaller boost, so BonusBoxx, cleanup, bubbles, and FishGames should feel more awake.
  • The Active Care drawer now shows your CareMaxx charge, active timer, and reward boost state in the same session-care panel.

Session Rules

  • CareMaxx charge is session-only. It is for an active play burst, not a saved forever potion.
  • If ActiveMaxxing is already live, extra CareMaxx is blocked so you do not waste it into the paperwork fan.
  • When the timer ends, the charge resets and the tank goes back to normal live-care rewards.

Short version: MealMaxxer fills fish bellies. CareMaxx fills the chaos battery. Please label your aquarium chemicals responsibly.

MealMaxxer Special Food Is Live

MealMaxxer is the first ChillTank special food: fed-only rainbow cubes for players who want full Daily fed meters without turning the tank into an XP rocket.

How MealMaxxer Works

  • MealMaxxer gives 0 XP. It is not a leveling food and will not push fish levels upward.
  • It is built for Daily fed: fish eat it to fill their fed meter for the daily earning cycle.
  • It works on every species and every rarity. Hungry fish can all care about it, no species paperwork required.
  • Tier 1 drops one pellet at a time, Tier 2 drops bursts of 3, and Tier 3 starts a full rainbow food rain.
  • All tiers deliver more fed-meter pellets per FishCoin than normal food.
  • Because it is cheaper fed-only food, the pellet-eat bonus payout is much lower than normal food.

FishShop Placement

  • The three MealMaxxer tiers are featured at the front of the FishShop carousel for now.
  • They also appear in normal FishShop food pages, inspect popups, Fishventory food lists, and the FeedDock food picker once owned.
  • Each tier has its own art path, so future tier-specific images can replace the current placeholders cleanly.

Short version: use MealMaxxer when you want fed meters full, not fish levels flying. Your fish get dinner. Your XP bar stays exactly where it was.

Fed Clarity, Goldfish MoneyMaxxers & Aquarium Reactions

04.06 is a readability-and-feel patch: fed earnings are less mysterious, MoneyMaxxers lean harder into Goldfish chaos, fish react to empty-water clicks, and The FishDaily update popup should be much harder to miss.

Daily Fed & Earn/Day

  • Fish cards now separate Now/day from Full-fed/day, so owned fish do not pretend they are earning at perfect fed level.
  • The fed earnings box now puts the important net/day number forward, with stronger green/red treatment depending on the result.
  • Shop and SharkStreet offers talk about full-fed potential, while owned Fishventory and tank tags stay tied to live current earnings.
  • Fed progress should stay for the daily cycle and only reset when the next daily statement cycle is processed.

Fish Tags

  • The fed tag is now a tiny food-mood readout with percentage: hungry, okay, and full-fed states are easier to scan at a glance.
  • Money tags can show current live Now/day earnings, and total valuation remains selectable for players who want value labels instead.
  • Heads up: many fish tags are useful but still performance-sensitive, especially in large tanks.

MoneyMaxxers

  • MoneyMaxxer rolls are now much more Goldfish-flavored. Other species can still hit the lane, but Goldfish are the natural little budget specialists now.
  • The MoneyMaxxer idea stays searchable and sortable in the places where comparing fish actually matters.
  • FishFinance and FishStats readouts should be clearer when you are deciding whether a fish is a worker, a collector piece, or just expensive vibes.

Aquarium Reactions

  • Clicking empty water can now send a few nearby fish drifting toward the spot with a light ripple.
  • Some interested fish may briefly react with little emoji thoughts, without firing when you click food, bubbles, trash, fish, or UI controls.
  • Very hungry 0% fed fish can now show short hunger moods above them, especially near the start of a session.

Balance & Maintenance

  • Species food pricing is being flattened so mid and high tiers are less absurd, while still scaling upward naturally.
  • Fish now need more food to reach 100% fed for the day, so full-fed status feels more like a daily care choice.
  • Non-fish activity payouts and bubble rewards were toned down, while fed bonus pellet eating stays protected.
  • Daily maintenance paperwork was adjusted again: tank upkeep is based on fish value plus fish tax, and the bonus joke fee is gone.

The FishDaily

  • Update posts now live as local HTML files, with screenshots loaded from the matching date asset folder.
  • The newest update announcement is checked after the tank session is ready and tracked per account or tank, so unseen posts should actually pop up.
  • The /updates timeline and /upcoming page continue to read from the same local post system.

This patch is mostly about making the aquarium easier to read while keeping the economy less explosive. Some balance numbers can still move, but the UI should now explain the game better while it does.

03.06.2026

Fed Tags, MoneyMaxxers & SharkBank Safety

03.06 is a clarity patch for the fish economy: fed progress is easier to see, MoneyMaxxers are easier to find, finance charts explain FishGrade better, and SharkBank disposal now locks the fish while the paperwork finishes.

Fish Tags

  • The fish tag menu now has a selectable fed tag, so tanks can show food progress directly above fish.
  • Custom tag layouts can now mix name, rarity, fed percent, and money value instead of forcing one fixed readout.
  • Daily fed progress is treated as a real daily meter, not a short timer that disappears after a reload.
  • Feeding should live-update the visible fed meter while you play, including during active feeding moments.

MoneyMaxxers

  • MoneyMaxxer is now a SharkStreet smart-search tag, including friendly searches like moneymaker and cashflow.
  • Earn/day sorting is available where fish buying and comparing actually happens: FishShop, Fishventory, and SharkStreet.
  • Money-focused fish should be easier to spot without opening every single card and doing calculator theater.

FishFinance

  • The FishFinance matrix hover now shows each fish's FishGrade directly in the tooltip.
  • The grade is highlighted inside the popup so high-quality workers and expensive troublemakers are easier to read at a glance.
  • The Fishventory stats view also has a FishGrade roster for drilling into individual fish from the species breakdown.

SharkBank Disposal

  • Pressing Drown now immediately locks that fish across Fishventory while disposal is pending.
  • Place, sell, stow, inspect-list actions, new-fish inbox actions, and stats-card selling are disabled until the fish is actually gone.
  • If disposal fails, the fish unlocks again instead of getting stuck in a half-dead paperwork dimension.

This one is mostly about trust: meters should save, searches should find the fish you mean, and dangerous fish actions should not leave room for accidental double-click chaos.

02.06.2026

Daily Fed Carry Badges

02.06 is a balancing patch for fish that are useful, not just shiny: clearer feeding, steadier earn/day, new carry-style badges, safer sell confirmations, and a few tank polish fixes.

New fish carry badge preview
Fish can now communicate practical roles more clearly, including cashflow-focused picks.

Daily Feeding

  • Feeding is moving toward a daily fed meter instead of confusing short hourly earn/day swings.
  • Fed progress should feel easier to understand: food supports the next daily earning cycle, while valuation stays separate.
  • Earn/day is being made steadier so fish do not look wildly different just because a short feeding timer moved around.
  • Feeding should also cause less busy recalculation while the tank is active.

Fish Roles

  • New role logic gives imperfect fish a reason to exist: some fish are better practical workers, not just collector trophies.
  • MoneyMaker fish can stand out as better cashflow picks, with a clearer badge and stronger shop identity.
  • Low-tax and budget-style fish are being shaped as stable daily helpers, while rare pristine fish keep the collector prestige lane.
  • Premium traits still matter, but the economy should no longer say that only the cleanest, rarest fish are worth thinking about.

Valuation & Balance

  • Rarity now has more weight in valuation than tiny condition differences.
  • Very low wear is still valuable, but near-perfect condition should not overpower every other trait by itself.
  • Special finishes, production errors, speed, rarity, and limited status are being treated as more visible parts of the fish identity.
  • Species food pricing is being flattened so cheaper-species food is no longer wildly underpriced compared with high-end species food.

SharkBank & Tank Polish

  • The SharkBank sell flow now gets a clearer fish review and confirmation step before a fish exits your tank for good.
  • Bubble bursts now get a short audio warning before they appear, plus snappier pop feedback during the burst.
  • The app background no longer sneaks in an old fallback location layer behind your selected tank background during resize.
Carry badge and balance example
More of the fish economy is being explained directly on the cards.

This is a balance pass, so numbers may keep moving a little. The direction is clear though: prestige fish stay exciting, practical fish get smarter, and feeding should be easier to read.

Limited Launch Stability Valuation

FishShop limited drops banner
Limited drops are getting a tighter launch pipeline, clearer cards, and safer previews.

Today was mostly a cleanup and stabilization day around the first live limited launches: better thumbnails, safer Atlas skin handling, saner valuation, clearer shop presentation, and a new personal pricing step for repeated limited claims.

Limited launch fixes

  • Limited fish cards are being brought back into the same visual language across FishShop, inventory, tank cards, and SharkStreet.
  • Campaign thumbnails and texture references are now treated more carefully so limited skins do not silently fall back to default species art.
  • Limited shop campaign banners are cleaner: the campaign wallpaper gets room to breathe, while long text stays inside the card instead of stretching the layout.
  • Upcoming and live campaign presentation got another pass so drop timing, stock, and campaign artwork are easier to read.

Limited pricing

  • Limited fish now use a personal step price when you buy multiple copies from the same drop.
  • Your first copy stays at the normal listed price. Each extra copy of that same limited drop raises your personal base price by +50% before limited tax.
  • Example: a 1,000,000 FishCoin limited fish becomes 1,500,000 base for your second copy and 2,000,000 base for your third copy, before the checkout tax line.
  • The step is lifetime-based for that drop, so listing, selling, or stowing a copy does not reset your personal count.
  • Shared stock and per-player caps still work the same. This only makes repeated personal claims more expensive.

Valuation update

  • Fish valuation was rebalanced so rarity, finish, production error, speed, condition, and limited premiums all matter without letting numbers explode too quickly.
  • High-condition fish still feel special, but tiny condition differences near perfect should no longer dominate every other trait.
  • Special finish and production-error combinations now have a clearer value impact, especially on limited drops where those rolls are rare.
  • Fed level stays out of valuation. Feeding should affect earnings and gameplay feel, not the permanent appraisal.

Skin and map polish

  • Campaign-linked skins are allowed as real runtime visuals, while unpublished draft-only skins stay blocked from leaking into normal fish.
  • Map inspect popups now use a larger preview space, with layered map art where available.
  • Manual admin coin gifts use their own reward icon, while automatic gameplay rewards keep their proper reward art.

Small gameplay cleanup

  • Idle game counters, milestone pacing, and reward popups keep getting trimmed so the tank stays readable during busy sessions.
  • Fish depth and perspective work continues, with short swim-bys feeling closer without breaking the foreground parallax.
  • Shop and SharkStreet card surfaces are being unified so limited badges, names, seller info, and thumbnails stay consistent.

Thanks for the early limited launch reports. This is exactly the messy but useful part of Early Access: finding the places where the economy, art pipeline, and UI need to agree with each other every time.

Tank Safety Jaws Leaderboard

31.05 is a safety-and-clarity patch: tank visits are safer, FishShop notices are smarter, Jaws delivery handling is clearer, and fish stats should be easier to trust at a glance.

FishLeague leaderboard background
Leaderboard visits now behave more like read-only scouting instead of touching your active tank session.

Safer Tank Visits

  • Opening a tank from FishLeague now uses a separate read-only visitor tab.
  • Your own tank session stays in the original tab, so idle progress and session counters are less likely to get mixed with a visit.
  • Visitor pages now show a clearer hint that they are scouting tabs and can be closed when you are done.
  • Leaderboard visit buttons no longer trigger an extra forced save before leaving the page.

FishLeague

  • Top Tanks is now the main gold-highlighted leaderboard view.
  • Top Fish has its own turquoise identity, while Weird Tanks is now a smaller red side mode for stranger daily rankings.
  • The weird leaderboard direction is being shaped around fun stats like unusual species stacks, high-speed fish, and other odd tank personalities.
  • Tank visit overlays got another transparency and safety pass so they feel lighter and less like a second live tank session.

FishShop & Jaws

  • Normal FishShop drops now lean much harder toward personal offers.
  • FishShop can show a small live countdown badge when a limited drop is getting close.
  • Eligible pending FishShop deliveries can now benefit from Jaws-style delivery timing instead of staying stuck on the old long timer.
  • Jaws delivery wording and eligibility were tightened so early-game expectations are clearer.
  • Admin reward mail now uses a dedicated reward-container icon, so official grants stand out better in the inbox.
Jaws membership logo
Jaws delivery behavior got clearer for eligible pending orders.

Fish Stats

  • Condition percentage now means clean condition: lower wear shows as a higher percentage, which should match what players expect.
  • The condition bar also shows the percentage more clearly on hover.
  • Fish speed now has a stronger visible impact in the aquarium, especially when comparing very slow fish against very fast fish.
  • Fish still keep their normal tank layer most of the time, but short swim-bys can now use a bit more depth for a livelier scene.
  • All species should appear in the Fishventory species desk again, including species that were missing from the overthinking view.

Guide & Math

  • The game info guide now has a bigger Fish section with real fish, Legacy, and ATLAS comparisons.
  • More math is visible in one place now: rarity, finishes, production errors, speed, condition, limited draws, SharkStreet basics, and idle reward systems.
  • Limited-drop explanations now make it clearer that randomized traits are server-rolled at checkout and final after purchase.
Fishventory statistics preview
Fishventory and the guide got more numbers where they help, without putting live server load on every tiny detail.

Maps & Campaigns

  • FishShop map and campaign promos got a cleaner path for showing the newest live content.
  • Map announcements can now lean on the map preview and badge art more directly.
  • Skin testing and Atlas creator tools got another pass so creators can test a texture locally before publishing it into the game economy.
Oasis Kairo map preview
New map presentation work is being prepared with cleaner preview art.

Behind The Scenes

  • More FishShop purchase diagnostics and recovery tooling were added after playtester reports.
  • Referral rewards were adjusted toward ATLAS-era fish rewards instead of old legacy-only fish.
  • Several small save, delivery, and inventory checks were tightened so the game has a clearer paper trail when something goes wrong.

This patch is mostly about reducing weird edge cases: safer visits, clearer delivery rules, better stats, and more visible math before the next bigger content push.

Limited Drops Sharkstreet Polish

Today is a polish-and-safety patch: limited drops are cleaner, SharkStreet is easier to search, bubble popping feels snappier, and FishShop checkout got safer without spamming saves in the background.

FishShop limited drops banner
Limited drops now get a cleaner stage, clearer campaign art, and stricter shelf rules.

Limited Drops

  • Limited fish are now treated as limited-only drops. They should no longer sneak into normal daily or weekly FishShop rotations.
  • Limited campaign cards now use the campaign wallpaper and logo more directly, so big drops look like actual event drops instead of mystery paperwork.
  • Upcoming limited drops show a more precise countdown when launch time is close.
  • Limited purchase previews now lean harder into the real fish-card layout, with gold accents where they matter.
  • Behind the scenes, the Atlas thumbnail and runtime texture flow got more defensive so published skins keep their proper preview identity.

SharkStreet Search

  • SharkStreet Browse now understands useful search tags like limited and named.
  • The Home page now shows stronger preview shelves, including dedicated Limited and Named sections when matching listings exist.
  • Search suggestions are a little more practical, and Show More buttons can jump straight into the matching Browse view.
  • Seller display and listing cards got another cleanup pass so deals feel less anonymous.
SharkStreet home and browse marketplace view
SharkStreet keeps moving toward a calmer, cheaper-to-run marketplace view.

FishShop Saves

  • FishShop checkout no longer forces a full cloud save after every single basket purchase.
  • Purchases still update locally immediately, then cloud sync is batched shortly after.
  • If you leave or hide the page, ChillTank still pushes the pending save through the safer immediate path.
  • Translation: batch buying should feel less like your own server is being hit with a tiny shopping-cart storm.

Tank Feel

  • Bubble popping now reacts on press instead of waiting for a slower click finish.
  • The bubble pop animation is shorter and centered, so bubbles should pop in place instead of drifting away like they are trying to file a complaint.
  • Fish depth and close swim-by behavior continues to be tuned so tanks feel less flat while staying behind the nearest scenery layer.
Bubble reward game preview
Bubble bursts should feel more instant and less slippery now.

Coming Soon

  • The SharkStreet location map is being prepared as a late-game map flex.
  • Skin Launch Studio work continues behind the counter: better Atlas previews, safer drafts, cleaner campaign publishing, and fewer ways for limited drops to escape into the wrong shelf.

This patch is mostly about trust: limited means limited, checkout should not hammer saves, and if a bubble says pop, it should pop right now.

29.05.2026

Idle Rewards Avatars

Today's patch adds more tank-side idle rewards, new collectible food test packs, a full SharkStreet avatar wave, and a cleaner aquarium feel while SharkStreet keeps settling into 1.0.

Bubble popping reward game preview
Idle rewards are getting louder, shinier, and easier to read.

Tank Idle Games

  • Bubble bursts now sit beside trash cleanup and game collecting as quick tank-side reward moments.
  • Food Test Packs are player pickups only: click the package, collect the reward, and let the fish chase normal food.
  • Trash and food pickups fall a little faster, so collecting feels snappier instead of floaty.
  • Fish can now make short close-camera swim-bys, then drift back into the normal swim layer instead of hanging there forever.
  • The aquarium perspective got a stronger depth pass: fish can come much closer to the camera for quick swim-by moments, while far-away fish sit deeper in the tank.

Game Collector Drops

  • Retro FishGame pickups can now glide through the tank as rare collectible drops.
  • Game Collector rewards use rarity styling, milestone progress, and bigger payout moments than normal trash cleanup.

Food Test Packs

  • New Food Test Pack pickups can appear in the tank as player-click rewards.
  • They are not tiny fish pellets. Fish keep chasing the normal food system.
  • Each rarity now has its own pack art, name, and rarity tag.

SharkStreet Avatars

  • FishShop gets a new SharkStreet avatar collection, from entry-level brokers to ridiculous market-floor legends.
  • SharkBank exclusives add the expensive boardroom avatars for players who want their profile picture to look like a financial threat.

Balance And Feel

  • BonusBox, bubble, trash, and pickup reward tuning had another pass so rewards feel better without exploding the economy.
  • Bubble and collector milestone feedback is clearer, with rarity-colored reward text and cleaner pop timing.
  • SharkStreet keeps its slower, cheaper market refresh style: no noisy realtime spam, just safer checks when it matters.

Coming Soon: SharkStreet Map

  • A dedicated SharkStreet tank map is now queued for the map shop.
  • Planned price: 100,000,000 FishCoins. Yes, that is very much a late-game flex location.

This one is a big feel patch: more tiny things to click, stronger tank depth, more profile flex, and fewer weird aquarium moments where a test snack tried to become fish dinner.

28.05.2026

SharkStreet 1.0 is live

SharkStreet 1.0 now live
SharkStreet 1.0 opens the fixed-price fish market for Early Access trading.

SharkStreet 1.0 is the headline today: fish trading is moving into its first real launch shape with safer listing, buying, delivery locks, market history, and species charts.

SharkStreet 1.0

  • Fixed-price listings now use the hardened SharkStreet flow: list, cancel, buy, and delivery all go through server authority.
  • Big buy confirmations now require deliberate checks and a hold-to-confirm button before expensive trades execute.
  • Delivery-locked fish show clear pending states and cannot be relisted before they arrive.
  • Browse search now understands species, skins, finishes, production errors, Atlas v2, and Legacy v1 terms.
  • Market charts, history, inbox notices, listing fees, buyer fees, and trader licence states got a large cleanup pass.

Bubble Game

Bubble Game combo preview
Bubble bursts can now appear during idle play. Pop the full burst for better combo rewards.
  • Bubble bursts can rise through the tank with combo text, faster multi-burst movement, and dedicated pop sounds.
  • Fishventory stats now includes the Bubble Game milestone projection so rewards are easier to understand before the next milestone.
  • Trash, bonus boxes, food drops, and bubbles now sit deeper in the tank scene so they stop fighting the front parallax layer.

New map previews

Balance and polish

  • BonusBox payout growth was smoothed so late-game scaling is less jumpy, while trash rewards got a small lift.
  • Food bags and barrels now create matching species-food interest, so fish should react consistently.
  • Clownfish start a little smaller, high-level fish can grow larger, and schooling behavior is stronger for species that should naturally school.
  • FishShop limited purchase caps now stay lifetime-safe even if a limited fish or item is listed or sold elsewhere.
  • Atlas thumbnails, limited badges, inventory card sizing, tank visit value loading, and finance/tax display all received cleanup work.
  • FishCoin limits are prepared for the 999T era, keeping whole-number money exact while giving late-game balances room to breathe.

Thanks for hammering the staging branch. SharkStreet is still a serious economy surface, so keep reporting weird edge cases before and during Early Access.

25.05.2026

Sharkstreet Reopening

SharkStreet is opening as ChillTank's fixed-price player marketplace: list fish, buy fish, track deal history, and let SharkBank take its very normal paperwork fees with a straight face.

SharkStreet marketplace banner
SharkStreet is now the dedicated place for player-to-player fish trading.

SharkStreet V1

  • SharkStreet launches as a simple fixed-price market: list a fish, set the ask price, or buy now.
  • The market now has Home, Browse, List Fish, My Listings, and History sections.
  • Home highlights fresh listings, affordable finds, rare shelf pieces, and best-deal style offers.
  • Browse uses search, species, rarity, condition, sort controls, refresh cooldowns, and pagination.
  • Fish cards open the normal fish popup preview, so you can inspect a listing before touching the big money button.
SharkStreet day marketplace artwork
The market has its own SharkStreet shell, backgrounds, logo treatment, and marble button style.

Buying And Listing

  • Buying is no longer a mystery click: SharkStreet shows a confirmation window with ask price, VAT, delivery fee, and final total.
  • Sellers set the ask price in a dedicated listing desk with the fish card beside the price breakdown.
  • Listing fees, buyer totals, seller receive amounts, and cancel-loss warnings are shown before confirming.
  • Price inputs are stricter now: no negative prices, no decimal chaos, no weird paste tricks, and no absurd overflow numbers.
  • Transaction history now keeps deal details so support reports can include the important SharkStreet paperwork.

Trader Licences

  • Trader Licences are now shown directly in the SharkStreet header so you know what market access you have.
  • Bronze, Silver, and Gold control how many fish you can list at once.
  • Licence ownership updates more directly after buying, instead of needing a full save-and-refresh ritual.
  • If a licence change would affect open listings, SharkBank now asks for confirmation instead of quietly making a market mess.
SharkStreet entrance button art
SharkStreet gets its own entrance and notification language across the tank UI.

Market Safety

  • Listed fish are locked and stowed, so they cannot keep earning, be placed, drowned, or sold to SharkBank while active on SharkStreet.
  • Server checks protect the buy/list/cancel flow so double-clicks, stale sessions, and two-tab chaos should not duplicate or steal fish.
  • Buyer and seller money is separated: the seller receives the ask price, while SharkBank fees go into the paperwork void.
  • SharkStreet actions refresh the market view after completion, with clearer loading, done, and processing states.
  • Top fish and fish popups now expose fish IDs more clearly, making market support and listing checks less guessy.

SharkStreet Delivery

  • SharkStreet purchases now use a separate one-fish delivery service instead of FishShop containers.
  • Bronze and Silver buyers pay a delivery fee. Gold licence holders get SharkStreet delivery for free.
  • Purchased fish arrive locked until delivery finishes, then appear properly in Fishventory.
  • SharkStreet deliveries show up in the Inbox with SharkStreet branding so they are not confused with FishShop boxes.
SharkStreet delivery service crate
SharkStreet delivery is separate, simpler, and built for one bought fish at a time.

Fishventory And Inbox

  • Sold fish and bought fish now create SharkStreet-flavored Inbox notices.
  • Sold notices can point you back to SharkStreet History for the deal overview.
  • Listed fish remain visible in Fishventory, but actions are blocked and the card clearly says they are on SharkStreet.
  • SharkStreet delivery entries can be inspected without pretending they are normal FishShop packages.

Achievements

  • New SharkStreet achievements were added for selling fish through the market.
  • New SharkStreet achievements were also added for buying fish from other players.
  • The steps run from early market activity up to serious trading volume, with SharkStreet badge art.
SharkStreet logo mark
List carefully. Buy carefully. SharkBank is absolutely watching the paperwork.

Card Finishes And Production Errors

  • Admin tools now use the shared card finish and production error option system for cleaner drop setup.
  • Finish options include Standard, Pristine, Aurora, Genesis, plus legacy aliases such as Holo and Rainbow Holo.
  • Production error options include Prototype, Null Print, Double Print, Inverted, Ghost Prism, Phantom, and supported legacy aliases.
  • This keeps FishShop drops, SharkStreet cards, limited fish, and popup previews speaking the same card-treatment language.

SharkStreet V1 is intentionally simple: fixed-price listings first, fancy auction house nonsense later. Trade like a shark, but maybe read the fee lines first.

Atlas V2 Launch

The Atlas/V2 fish update is ready to swim: future official ChillTank fish drops move to the new texture-based Atlas models, while every existing Legacy fish keeps its original look forever.

Legacy and Atlas fish model comparison
Same ChillTank species, new Atlas pipeline. Legacy fish stay collectible.

Legacy vs Atlas Lookbook

  • Every comparison below is a wide 1-vs-1 preview of the old Legacy generation against the new Atlas generation.
  • Legacy fish are not being deleted or converted. They become the old-school collectible version.
  • Atlas is the future official model line for FishShop and ChillTank institution drops.

Atlas/V2 FishShop Drops

  • FishShop is now ready for Atlas/V2 generated catches.
  • New official FishShop catches are moving to Atlas/V2 models.
  • Future institution-issued fish are Atlas/V2 too. Legacy fish become a collectible older generation, not a regular new drop type.
  • Atlas drops use the new single-texture fish models for cleaner rendering and future skin work.
  • Clownfish, Goldfish, Butterflyfish, Neon Tetra, Geophagus, Angelfish, Discus, Koi, Queen Angelfish, and Arowana are prepared for the Atlas switch.
  • Neon Tetra and Queen Angelfish can now join normal generated FishShop rotations.

Legacy Fish Stay Safe

  • Your already-owned fish do not get converted.
  • Legacy fish keep using the original ChillTank model system and keep their original look.
  • Legacy badges mark older fish as their own collectible generation instead of replacing them.
  • A Legacy Clownfish and an Atlas Clownfish can exist in the same tank at the same time.
  • Legacy fish can still be owned, shown off, and traded on the market.
  • Legacy fish will not be newly offered by FishShop or other ChillTank institutions going forward.

What This Means

  • Future skins can be built around texture atlases instead of old material-slot tricks.
  • Fish cards, popup previews, inventory, and aquarium rendering now respect each fish's stored model generation.
  • New official drops use Atlas going forward; Legacy value lives in existing owned fish and player-to-player trading.

If a fish was born Legacy, it stays Legacy. If a new drop is launched as Atlas, it stays Atlas. No surprise fish identity theft paperwork.

Exclusives Atlas Balance Fix

Today is a cleanup-and-systems patch: FishShop got smarter shelves, SharkBank exclusives are easier to understand, Legacy fish are now protected for the Atlas migration, and a few very suspicious reward bugs got dragged into the SharkBank basement.

FishShop daytime counter
FishShop keeps getting denser, clearer, and more dangerously tempting.

FishShop

  • Normal fish drops now have more variety on the shelf, with more distinct offers instead of huge piles of the same exact fish.
  • Individual normal fish offers now use tiny stock, so a good shelf find can actually sell out.
  • Sold-out normal fish offers stay visible on the Fish page with clearer sold-out / bought-all feedback.
  • Generated fish prices were relaxed hard at the top end. Extremely perfect premium fish are still expensive, but the wild billion-coin nonsense is being pushed down.
  • Rarity now matters more for price, so a Mythic clownfish can still be a luxury find instead of being cheap just because it is a clownfish.
  • High condition, speed, rarity, finishes, and production errors now show clearer price reasons on the card.

SharkBank Exclusives

  • The new FishShop Exclusives area is being shaped around SharkBank membership.
  • Everyone can see exclusive products, but non-members get a locked button instead of the item being hidden like secret paperwork.
  • Jaws access is now treated as Jaws plus Ultimate access. Ultimate members include the Jaws benefits too.
  • Exclusive shelves use the sharkfin branding and keep the normal FishShop checkout, delivery, and card logic.
SharkBank sharkfin mark
SharkBank exclusives are visible now, but the scanner still knows who paid the paperwork fee.

Delivery And RookieGuard

  • RookieGuard was tightened for brand-new players so early common and rare starter orders arrive fast instead of teaching patience as a first mechanic.
  • RookieGuard now uses its own visual branding instead of pretending to be Jaws or Ultimate.
  • Grouped deliveries and delivery boxes continue to show one clean package in the Inbox, with the actual items inside.
  • Delivery popups, cancel dialogs, and express buttons had more layering and live-state fixes so they do not sit behind Fishventory or feel stuck.
RookieGuard delivery badge
RookieGuard protects early tanks from five-day clownfish waiting-room energy.

Rewards And Balance

  • Fishkeeper level-up reward boxes now apply as a positive live reward delta. Accepting a money reward should no longer roll your balance backwards because of stale server coins.
  • Fed bonuses on pellet eat were tuned so rarity labels should feel more honest. Rare should not proudly announce itself and then hand you one coin with a straight face.
  • Full fish now produce fewer bonus payouts, so 100% fed tanks are less of a passive money printer.
  • SharkBonus from idle / full-fed situations was made much rarer, while pellet-eat bonuses stay more active and satisfying.
  • BonusBox and trash rewards were separated more cleanly so one system does not accidentally multiply the other into economic weather damage.
  • Trash milestone pacing was flattened and capped more carefully after reports of milestone payouts jumping way too hard.
  • Food falling from the sky now favors normal food bags more often, with species food still appearing as a special find.
Food and box reward preview
More little reward moments, less accidental SharkBank money cannon.

Fishventory And Stats

  • Inbox behavior is now closer to a mailbox: unseen entries get highlighted, marking seen removes the new counter, and delivered items can be dismissed separately.
  • Delivery container popups now show more order details, including the total paid.
  • Inventory previews were tightened so clicking fish, food, maps, items, or delivery entries should update the right-side preview more reliably.
  • FishTastics income charts and TankGrade sections got more fixes for empty or misleading stats.
  • The FishMaxxingFormula is now folded down to one big line by default, with the full cursed math available when expanded.
FishTastics statistics preview
FishTastics is getting better at explaining where your tank is strong, weak, and financially suspicious.

Legacy And Atlas

  • The Legacy to Atlas fish model migration groundwork is now in place.
  • Existing owned fish are protected as Legacy fish and should keep their original look forever.
  • For this week, regular FishShop catches still stay Legacy by default while the new Atlas GLBs are prepared.
  • Legacy badges are being added so older fish feel collectible instead of outdated.
  • Admin skin tools are being split into Legacy Designer and Atlas Designer so future texture-atlas skins can be tested safely.
Fish skin update preview
Atlas is coming next, but Legacy fish are not being converted or overwritten.

Card Finishes And Errors

  • Fish cards now have a shared treatment system for special finishes and production errors.
  • Canonical finishes include Pristine, Aurora, and Genesis.
  • Production errors include Prototype, Null Print, Double Print, Inverted, Ghost Prism, and Phantom.
  • Old labels such as Holo, Rainbow Holo, Double Prism, and Ghost Scale are still understood.
  • Fish popup cards and shop tiles now share more of the same visual treatment logic, so special cards should feel consistent.

Aquarium Feel

  • Food rain chasing was adjusted so fish commit harder to a pellet instead of changing their mind every microsecond.
  • Species food interest was adjusted so bags and barrels are closer in behavior.
  • Schooling fish now swim a bit closer together where it makes sense, while big solo fish stay less group-huggy.
  • Trash, food, and bonus objects now spawn and fall more consistently instead of teasing you from the top edge forever.
  • The pet fish button was removed from fish cards to keep that flow cleaner.
Leaderboard aquarium background
Leaderboards and tank views also got a few quiet repairs.

Fixes

  • Fixed a leaderboard style crash that could break the page during development.
  • Fixed more mobile leaderboard spacing so money values are less likely to get chopped off.
  • Fixed limited edition stock display details, including clearer remaining serial logic.
  • Fixed limited delivered fish staying locked in some live-delivery edge cases.
  • Fixed more popup z-index issues around Fishventory, Finboard, cancel delivery, and info bubbles.
  • Fixed several fish image cutoff problems in shop tiles and popup cards.
  • Fixed admin Skin Checker controls so finishes and production errors can be selected for V2 testing.

This is still a balance-heavy patch. FishShop prices, reward curves, trash pacing, and delivery timing will keep moving until the economy feels fun without being made of free money confetti.

21.05.2026

Sharkbank Jaws Fishtastics

Big ChillTank systems patch: FishShop is cleaner, deliveries are now a whole SharkBank problem, Fishventory got much smarter, and tank quality now has its own gloriously over-serious score.

FishShop welcome artwork
FishShop now opens with a quick welcome intro and daytime-matched shop artwork.

FishShop

  • FishShop got a compact tile redesign so more fish, food, maps, and items fit on screen.
  • Product tiles now show cleaner prices, delivery info, stock, owned counts, and stronger rarity-colored backgrounds.
  • Fish tiles now keep the quick view simple, while full details stay inside the inspect popup.
  • Fish species filters, condition filters, quick filters, and sorting were tightened up for faster browsing.
  • Daily, weekly, personal, shared, and limited fish drops now show clearer tags, stock, reset timing, and availability.
  • Limited drops got golden borders, cleaner start/end date blocks, per-player caps, and direct-buy protections.

SharkBank Delivery

  • FishShop purchases now use delivery times and delivery fees instead of instantly teleporting everything into your tank.
  • New players get RookieGuard protection on early common/rare fish and food so starter orders arrive quickly.
  • Multiple normal FishShop items can ship together in one delivery container.
  • Delivery containers show one box in the Inbox, with the actual items tucked inside.
  • Delivered fish, food, maps, and items now unlock live when the timer reaches zero.
  • Food deliveries can use SharkBank Express if you are rich enough to make a bad financial decision on purpose.
  • Delivery cancellation now refunds only part of the order, and limited edition orders cannot be cancelled.
SharkBank Jaws logo
Jaws and Ultimate are now real delivery memberships with benefits, gifts, and very serious fees.

Jaws And Ultimate

  • SharkBank Jaws and SharkBank Ultimate are now subscription-style delivery memberships.
  • Covered products get free faster delivery, with Ultimate usually arriving almost instantly.
  • Membership ownership now persists after saving, reloading, and coming back later.
  • Jaws and Ultimate members can receive daily presents through the Inbox.
  • Welcome gifts and daily membership gifts are now server-locked so reloads cannot duplicate them.
  • Subscription switching, cancellation warnings, daily fees, and SharkBank paperwork were made clearer.
SharkBank Ultimate delivery container
Grouped delivery containers make large orders easier to read in the Inbox.

Fishventory

  • The old New tab is now the Inbox, with grouped sections for deliveries, rewards, achievements, and other entries.
  • Inbox entries can be marked seen, dismissed from the new counter, sorted, inspected, and opened as delivery details.
  • Fishventory now has pagination, stronger rarity-colored rows, cleaner grid/table behavior, and better scrolling.
  • A Food page was added so owned food can be inspected like other inventory categories.
  • Delivery boxes now show the real item preview on the package, including fish, food, maps, and items.
  • Inventory fish, item, food, and location previews now update more reliably when clicked.
Fishventory artwork
Fishventory keeps moving toward one place for fish, food, deliveries, rewards, and absurd accounting.

FishTastics

  • FishTastics now includes dense client-side charts for fish value, rarity, species, size, speed, levels, and economy history.
  • The 30-day income overview was improved so active accounts should see real earnings by source instead of empty charts.
  • Trash reward forecasts now show expected payout ranges instead of pretending SharkBank math is normal.
  • A recalculate button, refresh cooldown, and last-updated indicator were added for stats pages.
  • Fish cards now show current size and max species size so growth progress is easier to judge.

TankGrade

  • TankGrade is a new 1.0-10.0 quality score for active tanks.
  • It rewards condition, rarity, level, size progress, speed, age, species diversity, and active school depth.
  • One perfect fish cannot carry a bad tank because the score blends averages, medians, and bottom-quartile quality.
  • High TankGrade gives tiny capped luck boosts and a small SharkBank tax rebate without replacing tank value as the main goal.
  • The new FishMaxxingFormula box explains the actual weighted formula directly inside FishTastics.
Unlicensed Petter achievement badge
Achievements now have real icons, better rewards, and clearer unlock progress.

Rewards And Activities

  • Absurd idle care events were added: thirsty fish, emergency petting, suspicious thoughts, taxes, compliments, and other nonsense.
  • Active Care now has clearer progress, session bonuses, and a dropdown-style overview.
  • Fed bonuses should happen more often again, especially for early fish, but most low-tier payouts are intentionally small.
  • Rarity and species food now matter more, with better chase behavior and less weird pellet ignoring.
  • Trash cleanup can trigger visible combo cleanup bursts, and BonusBoxes were tuned separately from normal trash.
  • Frankie playtime reminders can appear during long sessions with joke rewards.

Economy And SharkBank

  • Finboard was redesigned to be more visual, with more charts and less wall-of-text accounting.
  • Daily statements now include more SharkBank detail, including subscription pressure and delivery-related fees.
  • Fish earnings, level rewards, trash, food bonuses, taxes, achievements, and delivery costs were moved toward central balancing constants.
  • Several runaway reward paths were nerfed, while small satisfying money popups were preserved or brought back.
  • High-condition, high-rarity, high-speed shop fish now cost much more, especially in normal non-limited drops.
  • Normal fish drop stock was reduced so rare good offers feel more meaningful.
Leaderboard background artwork
Leaderboards got visual cleanup, mobile fixes, and clearer tank quality signals.

Leaderboard And Social

  • Leaderboard mobile layouts were improved so tank values, fish cards, and rows fit better.
  • Tank rows can now show gross value and TankGrade more clearly.
  • Verified blue checks and subscription logos now appear in more places where tank names are shown.
  • The Top Tanks / Top Fish switcher was made more obvious.
  • Leaderboard background art was updated for both tank and fish views.
SharkStreet preview artwork
SharkStreet is still launching later, but the teaser and welcome system are now in place.

Coming Soon And Behind The Scenes

  • SharkStreet now has its own launching-soon welcome screen and branded artwork.
  • Limited campaigns and texture-based fish skin metadata are being prepared for future skin drops.
  • The old skin editor direction is being replaced by Skin Checker and GLB swim testing tools.
  • Admin Game Analytics, Economy Balance Lab, and curve simulators were added to help tune the game without guessing.
  • Several tutorial steps were rewired for the new delivery, FishShop, Fishventory, and feeding flows.

Fixes

  • Fixed delivered limited fish sometimes staying locked after the timer ended.
  • Fixed some limited delivery rows showing strange internal IDs instead of the actual fish.
  • Fixed several popup layering issues, including Finboard info popovers and inventory confirm modals.
  • Fixed map/background inventory handling so newly added maps are easier to save, load, and preview correctly.
  • Fixed multiple image cutoffs in shop tiles, inventory cards, delivery boxes, and fish previews.
  • Fixed several cases where buttons needed live loading states or clearer disabled states.

This patch is deliberately system-heavy. Expect more tuning, especially around economy, rewards, delivery pacing, and FishShop drops. The target is still the same: more satisfying fish nonsense, less mystery abuse math.

So.. what if you dont pay your taxes or go into negativ?

SharkBank DebtCollector in a tank

SharkBank DebtCollector Update

Negative balances are now handled by the new SharkBank DebtCollector. If daily fees push your tank below zero, SharkBank converts the missing amount into debt and sends a very official collector into your tank.

  • The DebtCollector appears in your tank while debt is unpaid.
  • Your balance can still go positive and your fish still earn normally.
  • Debt only clears when you pay the full amount in the DebtCollector popup.
  • Unpaid debt grows by 10% per day.
  • Debt now has a stronger impact on your FISHA score.
  • The DebtCollector can also be seen in visitor view.

Tip: sell fish to SharkBank, collect income, or use bonuses to build enough cash, then clear the full debt before the daily interest gets rude.

Short version: more reliable progress, nicer shopping, and a calmer path between idle check-ins and active tank care.

ChillTank Update

Active Care Update

A new ChillTank update is live, focused on making active play feel more rewarding while keeping the aquarium pace calm.

Active Care

While you are in your tank, small care tasks can now appear from time to time. Clean a glass spot, check the filter, inspect a highlighted fish, or handle a targeted feeding request to build Active Care focus.

Higher focus boosts live earnings, feeding bonus chances, and bonus box chances. Offline income stays unchanged.

Fish Inventory

Fish can now be moved back into inventory. Inventory fish do not generate income, but they also do not count toward daily fish tax or tank fees. This gives you more control over crowded tanks and expensive collections.

FishLeague

The leaderboard now has two views: Top Tanks and Top Fish. The new Top Fish board ranks the most valuable owned fish across ChillTank, including fish in tanks and inventory.

Balance And Quality Fixes

  • Fish value estimates now better respect real shop buy-in prices and condition.
  • Bonus box payouts were increased again.
  • Fish tags can now be configured by name, rarity, and money value.
  • Several inventory, save-flow, shop, and leaderboard issues were cleaned up.

This update is a step toward making ChillTank work better for both idle check-ins and longer active sessions.

Fish specific Foods... but they are a bit more expensive!

ChillTank

New: Fish-Type Foods

SharkBank has stocked a new premium food shelf: fish-type specific food packs. These foods are made for one species only, so Clownfish food is eaten by Clownfish, Discus food by Discus, Arowana food by Arowana, and so on.

Fish-type food packs

The Food page in the FishShop is now split into cleaner shelves: Base foods, Fish-specific foods, and Rain packs.

Fish-specific foods are more expensive because they scale with the matching fish type, but they also give you much more control when feeding valuable tanks.

Tiny premium bags. Very serious fish business.

Your fish are earning coins more naturally: now with better feeding behavior, safer offline rewards, and a cleaner FishBank selling system.

Coin earning is back

  • Fish now earn coins more reliably while your tank is active.
  • You can also earn some coins while offline, capped to keep the economy balanced.
  • Well-fed fish perform better, while hungry fish earn less over time.

Feeding feels better

  • Very full fish no longer rush after food they do not need.
  • Semi-fed fish may still chase pellets, but less aggressively.
  • Nearby hungry fish should react more naturally when food drops.

Inventory improvements
