In our habitat tools, the fish and the space you watch them in are the starting point. A good composition leaves a clear view of their movement instead of filling every visible gap with an object.

Shape the setting

Begin with the terrain and water. Decide where the open viewing space is and which parts of the landscape should frame it.

Choose a few larger forms

Use rocks, plants or a bridge to establish the scene. Give the main shapes room before adding smaller decorations.

Leave the fish readable

Check the habitat from the player’s normal view. Keep a visible swimming area and make sure your favourite fish stand out against the surroundings.

Refine through play

Return to feeding, growth and observation. Small changes to the environment can give the collection a different mood without rebuilding everything.

Low-poly aquariums and a quieter creative routine

ChillTank uses stylized fish, plants, rocks and habitat decoration. The point of the low-poly direction is a readable little world with colours and shapes you want to spend time with. It is a creative aquarium game rather than a claim to reproduce the chemistry of a real tank.

Habitat building sits beside fish care, collecting, growth and breeding. You can be interested in the scenery and still have individual fish to return to, instead of treating the aquarium only as a finished display.

What to check in a Steam aquarium builder demo

Look at the camera, object selection, editing controls and performance on your machine. Check whether the demo includes free terrain editing or only selected decoration in a preset habitat; these are not the same feature.
